I hate keeping secrets

I keep wanting to write blog posts but I have nothing I’m working on right now that isn’t Christmas knitting and therefore not bloging material. It’s very frustrating. I’m not even spinning anything right now in my race to finish all the gifts I want to get done on time. Unfortunately the knitting has slowed down lately though, I’ve been working on a pair of socks that I wanted to knit two at a time from each end of the ball so I had one on my usual super-short-circulars but the other I was working on magic loop. I didn’t realize it at first but magic loop method is much harder on my hands, and after so much time spent working that way my left hand started to complain and I had to reduce the amount of time I was knitting on them. Now it just feels like everything is just crawling along and I often find myself on ravelry dreaming of all the lovely things I could make next year. I think that taking it easy the past few days have worked though and I should be able to pick up the pace and finish a few projects soon. I really hope I can finish it all in time so I won’t have to do any after Christmas and I can cast on something new and exciting instead.

  1. Thanks for reading & “liking” my blog!
It might be well worth your hands, and time, to pick up an extra set of your favorite type of needles to work the sock instead of the magic loop. After all, we can never have too many sock needles. 🙂

    • You’re welcome, I always enjoy reading good knitting and spinning blogs so it’s my pleasure 🙂
Ya it definitely would be, I finished up another pair of socks that I had been working on my extra set so that I could have them both available for this pair. Turns out that the needle I was using for magic loop was too short though and that’s why I was having hand pain, so perhaps sometime I will get a new set of circulars that are actually the proper size to use for magic loop.
