What’s on my Needles: Samwise Socks

Well today is Thursday (but you probably already knew that). Wednesday was yesterday and I totally forgot what day it was (I don’t know what I was thinking). I even had knit stuff to write a post about and I just plain forgot, so here it is a day later than I had intended. I’m beginning to think that I should just quit trying to do the post about certain things on certain days of the week thing since I just keep forgetting what day of the week it is.

Anyways, here’s what I’ve been up to this week.

Samwise Sock WIP

This is the Samwise Socks pattern by Claire Ellen and I’m actually really enjoying the pattern this time. I haven’t found any mistakes in the pattern and is super easy to memorize, it only took me two pattern repeats! I’m knitting it with Berroco Ultra Alpaca Fine in Periwinkle Mix and I have to say I love the colour, its perfect for spring (and also happens to be one of my favourite colours). I am really happy with this pair of socks so far, they’re a nice pleasant knit and I really like the way they are turning out too, I might even wind up making another pair of these someday!
