Brown Fluff and Spindles

Well I filled my spindle with that coopworth wool, I didn’t quite get all half of the wool spun up but I think I’m just going to start with this and I can make more later if I need it.

Now all I have to do is soak it and let it dry. With any luck I will be able to start knitting tomorrow!

Also, my new spindle came in the mail today! It’s a sistermaide Russian spindle and it’s made of hickory wood and it’s 11 inches tall. It has a knot in it but I actually think it’s actually nicer that it’s not perfect and it seems to spin very well despite my total lack of supported spinning knowledge. Here’s what I have managed to spin so far. It’s more of the coopworth wool.

I can’t wait to continue learning how to spin supported, I really like it so far.
